先生牢記師爺囑咐殫精竭慮傳承發展。

以畢生精力致力於中華傳統武術梅花拳的傳承發展事業，桃李遍天下名揚五大洲，傳習梅花門人中華正統武術，堅守民族情操，保家衛國，安內攘外，發掦俠義胸懷;服務人群濟弱鋤奸。

梅花拳不但紮根於臺灣，並茁壯發展壯大，走進世界遍地開花，海外梅拳弟子不計其數，豐功偉績將流芳百世名垂千古。

先生一生諄諄教誨，惠及眾生，他用梅拳功法鍛煉了無數人的強健體魄。

He firmly remembered the master's exoration to put body and soul into the constant growth and continuation of the Meihuamen.

He devoted his life to the transmission and development of the traditional Meihuaquan, his disciples are famous in the five continents for continuing the traditional Chinese martial arts of Meihuamen, for adhering to the national sentiments, being patriotic, defend the family and the country and carry forward the spirit of chivalry; they serve the people by helping the weak and weed out the violent (33) and evil.

The Meihuaquan is not only rooted in Taiwan, but now flourishes and grows in the entire world. There are countless overseas Meihuamen disciples,their achievements will leave a mark for generations to come, and their name will go down into history.

Mr Zhang earnestly tought through his life for everyone's benefit. Through the Meihuaquan method of physical training he gave a sturdy physique to many people.

Il sig. Zhang ha sempre avuto fermamente nella memoria le esortazioni del suo maestro, a dedicare corpo e anima alla continua crescita e perpetuazione del Meihuamen.

Ha dedicato la sua vita all'insegnamento e sviluppo del Meihuaquan tradizionale, e i suoi discepoli sono conosciuti nei cinque continenti per portare avanti le arti marziali tradizionali cinesi del Meihuamen, e per obbedire ai sentimenti nazionali, essere patriottici, difendere la famiglia e la nazione, e portare avanti uno spirito cavalleresco; essi servono il popolo aiutando i deboli ed estirpando i violenti (33) e i malvagi.

Il Meihuaquan non ha messo radici soltanto a Taiwan, ora prospera e cresce nel mondo intero. Ci sono numerosissimi discepoli Meihuamen oltremare, i loro risultati lasceranno il segno nelle generazioni a venire, ed i loro nomi passeranno alla storia.

Il sig. Zhang ha insegnato con entusiasmo per tutta la sua vita, a beneficio di tutti. Attraverso il metodo per l'allenamento fisico del Meihuaquan, ha donato un fisico robusto a molte persone.

(33) 群濟弱鋤 Qún jì ruò chú, expression: help the weak and eradicate the violent.

先生掌理發揚梅花門期間，要求門人學習梅花寒冬傲骨﹑堅毅不拔之精神。

台灣梅花門現傳承與第十七代發展至第二十代共約三千餘人，各個胸懷磊落，奮發有為，俱皆成為社會中堅及國家棟樑。

由於部分門人曾參與教育文化訪團，奔赴海外各僑居地宣慰僑胞;並參加國內外（亞運）各大小比賽﹑表演、觀摩、成績斐然。

普獲各界之好評，梅花拳生根於臺灣，並先後設立分支機構（協會）、臺灣梅花拳總會、中華國術會梅花拳推行委員會、中華道教梅花宮、道教武班梅花門總道場、財團法人梅花道德學術院文教基金會、中華梅花拳武術協會、梅花拳文武大法推展協會，遠播於海外，美國、澳洲、韓國、義大利、歐洲等五大洲皆設立分會。

During the time he was in charge, he asked his pupils to practice an unmovable, unyielding character, and the perseverance of the spirit.

Taiwan's Meihuamen has been passed down from the 17th to the 20th generation, and now has a total of about 3,000 practitioners. They are all eager to behave, hard working, and they have become the backbone of the society and the pillars of the country.

Some of the disciples participated in education and cultural promotion, and reached out to the oversea compatriots; they participated in various competitions, performances, and observations at home and abroad (Asian Games), with impressive results.

Everywhere is possible to benefit from the Meihuaquan of Taiwan, as the disciples set up several branches and associations: The Taiwan Meihuaquan General Association (34), The Chinese National Arts Meihuaquan Promotion Committee, the Chinese Taoist Meihua Temple, the Taoist Associacion Meihuamen Temple, the Meihua Academy of Arts and Education Foundation, the Chinese Meihuaquan Martial Arts Association, the Meihuaquan Civil and Martial Prinicples Promotion Association (35), reached far abroad. These associations These associations established branches in all five continents, including: United States, Australia, South Korea, Italy, Europe, etc. .

Nel periodo in cui era a capo [del Meihuamen], ha chiesto ai suoi studenti di praticare un carattere fermo e inamovibile, e di mantenere uno spirito determinato.

Il Meihuamen di Taiwan è stato trasmesso dalla 17a alla 20a generazione, ed ora ha un totale di circa 3000 praticanti. Sono tutti desiderosi di comportarsi propriamente e lavorare duro, sono diventati le fondamenta della società e la colonna portante della nazione.

Alcuni dei discepoli hanno partecipato nell'educazione e nella promozione culturale, e hanno stabilito contatti con compatrioti d'oltremare; hanno partecipato a varie competizioni, dimostrazioni, e osservazioni, sia in casa che all'estero (Giochi Asiatici), con risultati ragguardevoli.

E' possibile beneficiare del Meihuaquan di Taiwan in molti luoghi, dal momento che i discepoli hanno aperto diverse branche e associazioni: L'Associazione Generale del Meihuaquan di Taiwan (34),  il Comitato di Promozione delle Arti Marziali Cinesi Meihuaquan, il Tempio Taoista Cinese Meihua, il Tempio dell'Associazione Taoista  Meihuamen, la Fondazione Accademia delle Arti ed Educazione Meihua, l'Associazione dell Arti Marziali Cinesi Meihuaquan, l'Associazione per la Promozione dei Principi Marziali e Civili Meihuaquan (35). Queste associazioni sono arrivate lontano, hanno aperto filiali in tutti i cinque continenti, inclusi: Stati Uniti, Australia, Sud Korea, Italia, Europa, etc.

梅花拳為中國固有之文化，集儒、釋、道三教精華，敬夭地君親師﹑遵三綱守五常，法忠勇義俠精神，尊師重道，及獨特之文修武煉學術，其理之高深，大則可以強種衛國，小則可以益壽延年，此乃我歷代祖師所遺留之國粹精華。

先生造詣頗深，致力研究，歷久不懈，將梅花拳功法推向現代化、國際化的風骨，以及一生致力於推廣梅花拳文化，研究道功功法，內容豐富，理論清晰，實對梅花拳一大貢獻。

先生一身戎馬生涯，崇文尚武德藝雙馨，且親身實踐尊師重道，傳統中華文化的德行典範長存。

The Meihuaquan is deeply rooted into the Chinese culture, and contains the essence of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. It's principles include the respect to the lords of Heaven and earth, parents and teachers (36), to honour the Three Principles  and Five Virtues (37), practice loyal and righteous martial spirit, respect for the teachers and their refined martial culture. Its essence is profund, allowing the great to defend the country, and the commoner to live a happy and long life. This is the quintessence of a nation's unique cultural features that the masters of the old generations handed down.

Mister Zhang dedicated himself deeply to research and relentlessly promoted the Meihuaquan modernization and internationalisation. He devoted his life promoting the culture of the Meihuaquan and studying the Daoist practice, enriching its content, clarifying the theory, giving a great contribution to the Meihuaquan.

Mr Zhang lived fully a military career, advocating sublime culture and martial spirit, morality and art, and his concrete practice of respecting the teachers is a long-lasting example of traditional Chinese culture virtue.

Il Meihuaquan è profondamente radicato nella cultura cinese, e contiene l'essenza del Confucianismo, Buddismo, e Taoismo. I suoi prinicipi includono il rispetto dei signori del cielo e della terra, dei parenti e degli insegnanti (36), l'onorare i Trei Principi e le Cinque Virtù (37), praticare uno spirito marziale  devoto e giusto, il rispetto per gli insegnanti e per la loro raffinata cultura marziale. La sua essenza è profonda, permette ai grandi di difendere la patria, e alle persone ordinarie di vivere una vita lunga e felice. Questa è la  quintessenza della cultura eccezionale di una nazione, che i maestri delle antiche generazioni hanno tramandato.

Il sig. Zhang si è dedicato anima e corpo alla ricerca e constante promozione del Meihuaquan, per la sua modernizzazione ed internazionalizzazione. Ha dedicato la vita alla promozione della cultura del Meihuaquan e allo studio delle prariche taoiste, arricchendone il contenuto, rendendone la teoria più chiara, dando così un enorme contributo al Meihuaquan.

Il sig. Zhang ha vissuto a pieno una carriera militare, sostenendo una cultura sublime e lo spirito marziale, moralità ed arte, e la sua pratica concreta del rispetto degli insegnanti è un esempio duraturo della virtù della cultura cinese tradizionale.

(36) 敬天地君親師  Jìng tiān dì jūn qīn shī: lit. respect the heaven and earth, honour parents and teachers.

(37) 三綱守五常 sān gāng shǒu wǔ cháng: the Three Principles (i.e proper relationship between emperore and ministers, father and son, husband and wife) and Five Virtues (i.e. 仁 rén, benevolence, 義 yì, righteousness, 禮 Lǐ propriety, 智 zhì, wisdom, and 信 xìn, fidelity). These are basic Confucian principles.
